Hey! I’m from India and have applied to Penn State and Stony Brook.
My scores are 1340 (Redesigned SAT)
630 Verbal and 710 Maths
I’ve got 720 in MathI and 740 in Chemistry subject tests
I have a TOEFL score of 107
I scored 10 CGPA ( above 90%) in classes 9 and 10.
I got 75% in 11th (PCM) and a 94% Predicted in 12th.
What are my chances of getting into these Universities if I’m applying for CS?
Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks!
Both Penn State and Stony Brook would be matches for you. I’d say you have at least a 60% chance of getting into each. What’s hurting your odds are that you’re an international applicant (so your grading system is harder to match up to the American one), you haven’t listed any extracurricular activities, and computer science programs are always more competitive than the university as a whole.

However you missed the priority deadline so it may be a bit harder than it typically would and your answer will come in late.

It’s deadline is 1st Feb I guess
There was a priority deadline of November 30 - after that, it’s on a case by case basis, space permitting, and your application 's considered after the other applications have been reviewed
@MYOS1634 Ohh… i checked their website and for international undergrads it was 1st Feb! Maybe I’m wrong…
