Can I get into Temple????

I have a 3.31 unweighted gpa
I have a 3.78 weighted gpa
21 act
Plenty of activities
A really good essay ( if that helps)

i don’t know, i suggest you set up account at cappex, it’s free and they have a computer program that analyzes this. check with your GC too and the cappex account is free. we have one, we have not been bombarded with junk due to setting one up and from research i did, they are a legit company. there is a group called college data that gives you an estimate too as well as other online sites to guestimate, and again, your GC is a great resource for this.

i did look at cappex. your act is on low side for Temple. can you retake it? Depending on which GPA they use, you are in the maybe zone. I think and I can only say think cause i don’t know that they use weighted GPA but it may only be for core classes.

Your gpa is definitely fine. ACT not so much but i think if you are solid in other areas you will definitely make it in.

You re on the edge for this School . You can get in but not for sure . Check this graph , it Will help you …

Many wait listed/accept student around your gpa/act score .

Hi Jacob, your gpa and Act are on the lower end of the spectrum for Temple University students. The average GPA of the class of 2017 was approximately 3.41. Is it possible to retake your ACT? If so, shoot for a 23-24 Overall score (I know it is tough, but a 2 point increase is possible). Make sure you write a strong essay if you can’t. A strong application otherwise may help you out a little.
