My GPA weighted: 4.5
Unweighted:3.3
ACT:18
SAT: CR: 520, Math: 420 Writing:500
Recommendation: I am having one sent from my professor from my News Room & Reporting class at Indian River State College and he used to teach at FIU, should I have more than one?
I am a Dual Enrollment student, and I also took only Honors and one AP class all through high-school. I have numerous extracurriculars', my main one being Student Government, I know my test scores are weak, so because of that I chose the Temple Option and did not send them my test scores at all. I am applying for the Media and Communications school. I just want to know if I have a chance of being accepted because that is the school I really want to attend.

You will get in, you will be fine. Temple has a high acceptance rate. I, like you had an UW GPA of 3.3 and I got in.

Your standardized testing may honestly hold you back. If you have the option, you might want to take advantage of the option that allows you to not submit your standardized test scores and write a really strong essay. An 18 on the act is will put you in the bottom of the bottom 25%. SAT isn’t too bad, your math score puts you at a disadvantage.

I was accepted, thanks again everyone.
congrats!!!
