I am a student at a fairly prestigious prep school with a 3.2 GPA. I know that’s not great, but I do have upwards improvement, culminating in straight A’s in my first semester of this year.
I have a 2020 SAT, (1380 if out of 1600)
I am involved in 6 clubs, three of which I am captain of, and have had 3 internships including my current one with a 2016 Candidate.
I am applying to the following schools, all of which are for Poli-Sci majors
ED Syracuse
EA Drexel
EA UW-Madison Wisconsin
EA Fordham
EA Boston College
1st Notification Clemson
1st Notification Texas-Austin
If I am not accepted to Syracuse, I will apply to:
RD Delaware
RD NYU
RD George Washington
If anyone with knowledge could give me a simple probability with any of these schools I would really appreciate it. Be as honest as possible, I’m a big boy I can take it lol.
T26E4 i think you’ve got me all wrong. I’m not saying that in a preppy way or to brag, I just happen to know that it’s pertinent information to a college decision. And they won’t give me actual answers because these private schools are too worried about being sued to be real with any of their councelees.
You got me wrong too. Be glad you’re at the school you’re at. I’m saying that you have access to staff who are VERY well trained and who are personally invested in you. They can surely give you broad guidance.
If not, then google the Common Data Sets for these schools and see where your metrics line up with previously admitted students. Good luck
Does you school have something like Naviance where you can see the admissions results from prior years for students at your school with stats like yours?
