Recently my best friend was accepted to Yale and has encouraged me to look into an Ivy school. I personally don't think I have done well enough, but there is always even the most slightest of chances; so, I might give it a go. I have always been interested in UPenn, but as I mentioned, my friend's acceptance to Yale spiked my interest. Here is what I have done the last five years (I am a senior and I took the most advanced classes my small school offered), and I was wondering if anyone could help me with my chances:

Over 4 years, I have eclipsed a 3.9 GPA UW. My school doesn't usually weight our averages but for Yale, my friend had his weighted and it went up three points. We have taken the same classes except I have taken Spanish for two additional years; so, I am looking at a 4.0 weighted GPA. My class rank is 5 of 159 (my school is small, and I think it'll hurt my chances at Penn), putting me in the top 3 percent. My ACT performance was mediocre at best, 29 Composite; however, I am taking it again Saturday and I have actually reviewed and taken practice tests. Since I am in the IB program, I will have roughly 150 community service hours by the year's end. My performance on the AP's was also rough, 3's on both the world history and biology, and a 5 on the US. My mathematics SL was a 4. Finally, based off of my involvement in sports and athletic training, I suppose my fitness is something I take pride in?

Like I said, I don't think my application is quite impressive at all. I am hoping to get a 30-32 on my ACT Saturday, and even with that, Penn would be a stretch. I have forgotten a few things, I'm sure. Perhaps someone could still tell me my chances, so I know if I need to even bother?
