What program are you applying for?

Engineering

Hopefully you took SATII Physics. Because I completely forgot and applied for engineering as well. LOL. But its only “strongly encouraged” :p

chemE. and no i didn’t take the physics subject test but I did take the math 2, chem, and bio – this year Im taking physics for the first time so i didn’t think it would be a good idea…

I think you have a good chance! Good luck!

I think you have a great shot! I hope you and I are classmates come March 29, 2012! Go Quakers! :)

Good luck to both applicants, I am Penn Engineering senior (stressed waiting for grad school decisions so surfing for stuff to engage my brain).

Penn Engineering takes exceptional students like yourself- you do need to be in the top of your class, have shown aptitude for the field, vounteered and so forth. It’s a great school and highly selective, but you ae an exceptional student, so will be in a highly favourabloe position.

If you haven’t heard of it, when you are accetped, enquire about their Submatriculation Program which enables you to complete your Masters and Bachelors concurently in four years. It’s a great way to take more advanced courses and to help you stand out when applying for grad school or jobs.

There are lots of undergad research opportunities and the advisors really care about their students.

The program is well-regarded and so far my friends and I have received acceptances for PhD programs from MIT, CalTech, Cornell, UCSB, Princeton, U Michigan, U Washington (Seattle), Georgia Tech …we’re all waiting to hear from a few others like Harvard, Berkeley, UCSD, Georgia Tech, Duke and Stanford. And waiting for funding offers, too.
