Can I get into UVA?

I just finished my junior year of high school and want to know my chances of getting into UVA as an in state female. So far I have:

4.10 GPA
1350 SAT score (new 1600)
31 ACT score
I’m taking a good amount of AP’s (3 junior year and 5 senior year) as well as honors.

With extracurriculars, I have:
-Volunteered over 300 hours as an intern with my local animal shelter
-A year long selective volunteer program with 100 hours and a Presidential volunteer award
-Undersecretary General of Model UN (started the club at my school)
-On the debate team
-NHS member
-Vice President of the Humanitarian Club (organized a fundraiser to raise money for homeless children)

I also did a one week summer International Relations program at Georgetown University.

This is one of my top schools but I feel like my GPA isn’t competitive enough.

Thanks.

@laurenpch1 Your GPA is only slightly lower than their average, and your test scores are right in line with their averages. I would say your chances for admission are favorable. I think your essay and recommendations will also carry a lot of weight in the decision.

Did you earn admission into the summer program at Georgetown? Or did you have to pay for it?

you need to bump up your ACT. Your ECs may help you, but know a summer IR program won’t help your app. Summer programs that you have to pay for aren’t seen as impressive to colleges. But if you’re just trying to express interest in IR, include it in your app
