<p>do i have any chance of getting into the following: vassar, barnard, bryn mawr, brandeis, sarah lawrence, smith, eugene lang, nyu, uc berkeley, university of rochester or any similar schools
considering:
gpa: 3.5
ACT: 32
SAT: 1820
ECs:
- student government for 3yrs
- commissioner of activities (this year)
- vice president (next year)
- started volunteer agency at school (helping students find volunteer opportunities within community and to their likes)
- varsity swim team (freshman year)
- performing arts program - music and dance (10th grade)
- Youth and Government (10th and 12th grade)
- an Anti-Defamation League trained peer facilitator
- President of Peer Mediators
- Administrative Consultant for Junior Class Council
- piano training for 11 years

I have taken five college classes at a community college.</p>

<p>I have a sort of "self-made man" background for essays and interviews. I am Jewish. I have received principal's honor roll for two years. I am in the top 10% of my class.
Do I have ANY chance?</p>

<p>I have very simular stats and they look good but Burkley and Barnard might be a little bit of a reach good luck</p>

<p>if you are take as many advanced classes as you can. barnard looks at rigor of curriculum.</p>

<p>i think they look at where your passion is and how you’ve managed your time in high school to follow it.</p>

<p>You should stand a good chance with Sarah Lawrence. Solid ECs but a bit of a stretch with the SAT score for SMITH College. But that was for Class of 2013, where Smith had 1000 additional applications. Could change this year. But anywho, good luck with the applications!</p>
