Can I get into William and Mary?

I am a sophomore in high school, so I did not take the SATs yet, but I am planning to go to attend my school's SAT class and maybe a private one to make sure I do well.

I have a 96.23 GPA and I have taken all honors classes.
My schedule for next year as of right now is...
AP History, AP English, AP Psychology, Political Science, Honors Spanish, Physics, and Pre-Calc. (I am open to any suggestions)

I am involved in extracurricular activities like volleyball, Science Club, Current Events Club, 3 Dimensional Design Club, and I am starting to do a lot of community service.

I would really like to get into William and Mary for their education and colonial history courses. Can I get into it? (Be honest, but not mean please)

You are way too early. Schools look at the SAT’s as much as gpa. Focus on your studies, keep your gpa high, focus on one or two EC’s (not more!), take the SAT’s and see what happens.

AP courses are tougher than honors courses generally. The AP exams are very very tough. Colleges will want to see those scores.

William and Mary is a small state school with uber selective admissions. Nothing wrong with dreaming, but make a list of 20 schools that you like and start from there. Its not healthy to focus on one school.

good luck.
