i don't know.. i also applied EA to yale... you seem to have a long list of activities-- yale doesn't like to see a laundry list- decide what's important. in any case, you have as good a shot as anyone. good luck.

Ok so i'm applying "SCEA" if you wanna be all specific and what not, i'm just curious about my chances which not many people have commented on...BUMP!

Yale has just under 4000 applicants this year actually. Last year, they accepted 16.5% of EA applicants (there were 4000 people last year too). With your scores, you have a chance, but not a great one. No one has a great chance.

those test scores arent too good. and why would you pick national honor society over a student council officership!?!?!??! nhs is overrated. we have a couple national merit SFs who werent accepted into the nhs. being a student council officer (and showing commitment into ur senior year) definitely would have been better than nhs.

and whats up with ur schools policy on nhs members being officers? they dont want smart kids running the school?

and our NHS is a crap. ppl just sit around and say "we're smart" literally-but its not exculsive at all. there are idiots who are in NHS. They made shirts that say "we no we're smart" but the funny thing was they were meant to say, "we no were smarte" but they screwed up. so now ppl are like, 'do they know there is a typo on their shirt?" its stupid. our offficers try really hard but its an org that is there so ppl can put it on their apps. to sum in up NHS is WAY overrated.

yeah, everyone applying to colleges can make a massive list. Pick the events that you win awards in, or hold officer positions, or made yourself or something. The essay thing about food is cool.

Same shot as everyone, it would have helped if your scores were higher I guess.
