Just wondering about my chances for International Relations at Yale or Stanford - sorry i meant Yale or Stanford in my thread title ...

You're In Girl :p

Would you apply as an international student? (Meaning, do you have American citizenship?)

I think you have a goods hot either way, but it'll be tougher if you don't.

international student

From what you've shared, you seem to be viable. However, I'm sure you know that given the many, many applicants each year (especially internationals), nothing is for certain (despite ilovebabypink's post). Best of luck to you.

Contrary to what ilovebabypink says, nobody has a shoe in. There are loads of extremely competitive applicants applying to Stanford and Yale, and being an international student it's even more difficult and cutthroat. You do have a shot, however, and it's definitely worth applying, just be sure to look at alternatives if you want to attend university in the states. Good luck!
