Hello everyone,
I would like to know if it’s possible to significantly improve my Literatue score even though my literary skills are horrible. I think I am considered ‘ok’ in other science subjects and math and I can actually learn but I just have a problem with this particularly subject.
I scored a 740 in Math 1 and 500 in Lit( didnt really study for it).
So I was wondering if I can possibly improve my score to maybe at least a 600 despite my awful skills especially in understanding a literary piece.
Since I have to do 7 subject tests in my country, I really have no other options than to do this test.
Thanks in advance.
Yes I believe you definitely could do it. Practice now using the Barron’s. The best and pretty much the only way to get better is to practice, practice, and practice using test questions. After every practice test, go over every single question you got wrong, and go over every single detail until you understand with perfect clarity why you got it wrong. The Barron’s will be a great steeping stone, allowing you to cover the basics, but to attain mastery you’ll end up doing a lot of practice questions.
And in what god forsaken country must you do 7 subject tests? WHY?!
Thanks for your reply now you gave me some hope.
Haha it’s actually in Jordan, since the high school “examination” called Tawjihi is pretty difficult so an alternative way to enter universities is to do 7 SAT Subject Tests as an “equivalency”.
