I have BFS, Benign Fasciculation Syndrome. It basically means my muscles are constantly twitching everywhere and it drives me INSANE.

The thing is, before i can jump to bfs (since i self diagnoised myself) i have to look at other possibilities that might be causing twitches... (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, infection etc) I hope it's not any of these, but i haven't been to the doctor in awhile so.. But i want to see if there's any hope for me because if it's BFS, it basically will continue on until whenever it wants to.. and it's super annoying although not life threatening.

I was wondering would I be able to visit the health center for this? Do they have anybody that kinda specializes in muscle functioning?

You can go to the health center for anything, and they can connect you with specialists as needed.

I assume you have cut out all coffee, caffeine, pop, chocolate, decongestants, alcohol, cigarettes, and any other substances that can contribute to twitching...

I agree that you can visit the health center for pretty much whatever you need. The services there are pretty basic and if you need more, you can go to the USC Med School (there's a free shuttle), where you can see more specialized docs or even just the family practice folks. We've met several docs in Family Practice & they were all pretty nice & willing to refer for more specialized help as needed.
Good luck & I agree that looking at your diet would be a good first start.

Thanks. Yeah i'm trying to cut all the caffeine from my diet right now although that's a little bit difficult since I'm a diet coke addict.. but its happening...

I'll be visitng the health center soon, thanks guys ^_^
