Can I p/np my english class?

<p>I'm taking a freshman composition (?) english class and I don't know if I can get A in this class.</p>

<p>So I'm just wondering if I can change it to passbor nonpass instead of a letter grade.</p>

<p>And if I can, would it affect me later in the future when I transfer?</p>

<p>i would rather drop it with a W and then take it again and try for an A. as far as i can tell, the core English composition class grades are one of the most important things for UC Transfers, regardless of major.</p>
