<p>On the commonapp, under the "Demographics" tab, there is a place to put down which languages you are proficient in. English is my first language and I speak it at home, so I marked it down as such. I have however been taking Spanish in school since 6th grade, and now (my senior year) I am taking a college level Spanish class (in conjunction with Syracuse University). Am I allowed to check the boxes for speaks, reads, and writes? Or is that stretching the truth too much?</p>
