Can I raise my GPA from a 3.1 to a 3.8-3.9

So I’m a freshman in high school and I was just wondering if I have can raise my gpa from a 3.1 to a 3.9. It should go up after my D from Spanish 2 from 8th grade gets replaced with an A.

by the way this is my unweighted gpa

That’s what Rogerhub is for!

What are some things that can raise my gpa.

GPA is dependent on two things:

  • Your grades in your classes
  • The weight assigned to each class by your school.

So the way to raise your GPA is to take harder classes-- if your school uses a weighted average, not all schools do-- and to increase your grades in those classes.

You can raise your GPA by paying attention in class, doing the work, studying for tests etc.

Are you asking if its mathematically possible?

8th grade won’t count. Work hard. That’s the best way and don’t get caught up in bad influences

I’m with gallentjill, is it mathematically possible? Not sure, to be honest. Is your 3.1 from one semester only or 3 quarters? Write it all out on a piece of paper, 8 semesters or 12 quarters, and see if you can get there if you get all As from now forward. Google “how to calculate gpa” if you need more details.
