Can I re-apply to NYU if I'm rejected this year?

Hi guys, I'm wondering can I still re-apply to NYU if I'm rejected this year. Due to some personal issues, I wasnt able to submit the complete application, which means it was missing some materials and passed the deadline. Now I've finally decided to re-apply. The thing is, on the NYU site, it states that "Students who were once formally enrolled as a degree-seeking candidate at NYU may apply for readmission."

the site is here:<a href="http://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/apply/Non-TraditionalApplicants/ReadmissionApplicants.html">http://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/apply/Non-TraditionalApplicants/ReadmissionApplicants.html</a></p>

i want to re-apply instead of being considered for "readmission" or transfer student.

Can I still re-apply for NYU? It's my dream school and I don't want to lose my hope.

Re-admission is for people who tried to take time off and does not apply to you. You just apply through the common app, and there’s generally a box in the supplement that you’ll tick that says that you’ve applied to NYU before

thank you so much!!! I was worrying about this for months
