<p>The letter detailing my residence from Georgetown University suggests that I send my package after I get settled, but can I send my bedding and miscellaneous items afterwards?</p>
<p>We have same issue. You can ship to GU if shipments arrive after 8/16. They have told us that they will not release packages for a couple of days after you move in. That’s not convenient, so we contacted UPS and found out that they have “Customer Service Centers” in the area where you can ship the packages and they will hold them for you for 5 days after arrival for you to come by and pick up. The closest one to GU is around 8 miles away. Seems like the best alternative in that it allows you to have your stuff at move-in time.</p>
