Are there any schools that i can still apply to in the united states for undergrad studies?
There are many colleges with rolling admissions that are still accepting applications, although they may have only a limited number of slots left. Would you be applying as a freshman or do you already have college credits?
Look on Peterson’s website. They have all the deadlines organized by date. I’m not sure where you are from, but I’m in PA. I know a lot of the state schools are still accepting applications in my state, and Penn State’s and Pitt’s branch campuses are still accepting applicants.
Have you taken the SAT or ACT tests?
Here are resources: https://www.educationusa.info/
Will you need financial aid?
If not, and if your TOEFL is 80+, you have quite a few possibilities still:
Hendrix - excellent LAC in the South, with guaranteed, funded research experience/internship/study abroad; great if your goal is graduate school.
Hiram, strong LAC in Ohio that specializes in B students with energy and many interests (+ very cool “Medical Humanities” program)
University of South Florida, if you want a very large university with good weather and beach access but don’t mind the large classes
Penn State Erie and Penn State Harrisburg if you have decent stats, Penn State Greater Allegheny if you are a marginal student and need 2 years to build your academic profile (then you automatically move to the main campus and get a degree from a top university…)
Columbia College Chicago (never to be confused with Columbia U in NYC) is a good option if you’re interested in arts or media/communications. Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, is another interesting college with open, rolling admissions.
thanks guys! this was really helpful.
I wanted to know if it was still possible to apply to Hong Kong University? @woogzmama @MYOS1634
HKU => post in “International students” since it’s not a US college.
Or you could check on their website yourself rather than asking strangers on the internet
