Can I still get into Emory or Stanford? Please help me.

So I am an early graduate (junior who completed high school) and have gotten int sevearl decent schools. However I WANT TO GO TO EMORY REALLY BADLY! (I want stanford too but my stats aren't good enough). Here are my stats:
4.5 weighted
4.0 unweighted
1780 SAT (first time taking it)
520 CR (Im terrible at reading)
690 math (I love math)
570 writing (im decent at grammer)
10 essay (i can write killer essays)
26 ACT (second time - same as first)
27 English (brought up from a 22)
28 math (i thought i did better)
24 reading (first time i got a 25)
25 science (first time i got a 26)

Should i send both ACT scores? because my reading and science were one point higher the first time. but my english went way up the second time. Will colleges let me take it again in Feburary? Here are my EC stats
Cross Country (captain 3 years)
relay for life (2 years)
H.O.S.A (3 years compeition coordinator)
Student Council (3 years VP all 3 years)
Lead Global (study abroad in South Africa)
Wellstar Volunteen Summer program (300 hours and was a volunteen leader)
I have a job as well

So what are my chances at these school? I wrote great essays for bot, but the ACT/SAT are terrible. If i dont get in either I will stay another year and just study but i dont want that. Thanks!

Retake the SATs if possible. If not, apply elsewhere as safeties to say the least.

Low chance with those scores.

Your SATs/ACTs are fairly low for those schools. What you can do is take SAT IIs to help compensate, but you will need to get 700+ on those…or perhaps retake the SAT itself in January! I am not sure if the February ACTs will be soon enough. Stanford is an extremely high reach for anyone, so don’t be discouraged if you are unable to make it. Emory is also a reach for pretty much everyone, so yeah try to look at some safeties as well.

Ok i will retake the SAT again in January! Will these schools accept them?

If you really want to go to Stanford, you need to stay in high school another year. I have heard you shouldn’t even apply without at least an 1800 SAT. You could take a prep course over the summer and you’ll have another year of English under your belt so you’ll most likely do a lot better. With another year of math you’ll probably be able to push your math score into the 700’s. Why do you want to graduate early?

Oh wow…I didn’t realize you were a junior. Dude! Just stay in High School another year and improve your grades, do more ECs and you definitely have so much more time to improve on SATs. That’s what I would do to have a decent chance. You want to aim for 2000+ on SATs for those schools.

If you want to get out on your own early, go to one of the schools that has already accepted you. If Emory or Stanford is one of your goals, definitely stay in school for senior year, bring up those SAT and ACT scores, and delve into more extracurriculars. Don’t worry too much about it, junior year I scored a 26 on my ACT, studied over the summer, and senior year made a 30. A lot of mental maturing occurs between these two years, so take advantage of them and apply to Emory and Stanford with your highest potential.

I will try one more time and if i dont do well enough than i will wait, but I studied a lot for english i guess i should focus on other parts as well.
