Can I submit my Common App before I finish the supplement?

<p>Hi guys. I want to pay for my Common App now but submit my supplement tomorrow. I just want to make sure I can do this? (My Common app essay is finalized.)</p>

<p>If yes, can I have something written in the supplement section when I submit just the Common App? I want to go back and edit it tomorrow.</p>

<p>This is primarily because I want to pay ASAP.</p>

<p>I hope that's not confusing...</p>

<p>It is a two step process. First you pay and file the Common App and CA essay, then you file the supplement later. So you are in good shape.</p>
