I had my MIT interview around January 10th but there is no trace of it when I log in to mymit. Like I see all the parts of my application are complete but it’s written nowhere that I had an interview or that they received the report. Is it normal or should I worry about this?
It’s normal, MyMIT doesn’t track interviews.
I agree with @yucca10
Mailing the adcom/interview committee would have you the same answer
They just dont this year onwards due to the change in structure and timing of interviews which im sure youre aware of.
It’s the duty of the EC to send the interview report to the Adcom/Regional Head (which in turn sends it to the adcom).
So if you had your interview, it is complete regardless (no worries on your end needed). If you dont, then its waived at no disadvantage, and if you decline one, then theres negative impacts on your overall app.
Hope this helps.
The EC’s all submit interview reports directly to MIT Admissions on line now. The Regional coordinators do not read or submit interview reports for ECs.
