Can I transfer to a different community college when I have an academic suspension at my current one

I am going to have a year long academic suspension starting in the summer, but I have the chance to go back in the fall quarter if I plea my case to the school. If I don’t get let back in fall quarter, could I transfer to a different community college, take classes there, then transfer those credits back to my original school when I can get back in?

If you lose your appeal at your current CC, and you want to take classes somewhere in the fall, then take your transcript from that CC and pay a visit to the admissions office at the other CC that you are interested in. It will be up to them to decide whether or not to allow you to enroll at that time.

But to be perfectly honest, if your current CC recommends a year long academic suspension, then you probably should do just that. The time off will give you a good opportunity to think carefully about your goals for your education, and you will be a better, more focused student when you do return to classes.
