Hello everyone,
I am an international student who came from china. I am studying in Uconn right now, and I am math major. I am a sophomore right (fourth semester) now. I want to apply for the junior transfer to Penn(Dream school), Brown, Uchicago, Northwest, Columbia and Umichigan. The reason I ask is my SAT is really really bad, and I think it gonna effect my application a lot.

My situation;

Major: General Math
Applying Major(in new school):Math
SAT: 1650 out of 2400 (I know it is so bad)

I got All A from my past courses except the English class for first term (A-)

So what do you guys think, please give some advice, I know the chance is really low, but I still want to try. I mean I have reason to transfer. For penn, the reason I that is my dream school is I really think I can get what I want in Upenn. Its hard to say all reason here, but the main point is when I visited penn, I was been touched a lot. I just want to tell you guys truth, when I chat with my friend in my school, they never understand why I choose math major or why I like math. But when the first day I visited penn, a random student from penn told me some words I never gonna forget when I told him I am math major. I really feel thats the people I would like to spend my college time to work with because they understand me. It is really mean a lot for me.

I can not go too much detail here, because I am still trying to re-take my sat on 4 days later, oh and one more question. My sat is 1650 right now, and I think this time I would not be able to get more than 1800, do you guys think I should take this SAT or not, because this is the last time i can take before transfer deadline. But the thing I am worry about is the grade from this time will not be high enough (around 1800), so will the people thing that " oh! this kid sill just get 1800 after almost two years college, he is sucks"....

I really need some help, thank you for helping!!
