I have about 5 SAT books but only one book for GRE. I was wondering if I can use the SAT books along with the GRE book to study for the GRE?

I realize that this is a very late reply since this post is from February, but it is still on the first page on this forum, so in case if anyone else is wondering - no. Buy another GRE prep book. You can get them for much cheaper through Amazon as opposed to places like Barnes and Noble and/or Books a Million, especially if you have Amazon Prime. The SAT is much, much, much easier than the GRE (especially the verbal section. Actually, mainly the verbal section). The SAT math portion is probably not as different from the GRE, but I think it’s still pretty different and more difficult, from what I remember from the SAT… (took the GRE once and I am currently studying again to retake it in a few months).

^ I think you’re talking about the old ver. Math is now more demanding and verbal is less literary and more SAT-like…

eh, its pretty close, though your big resource should still be GRE Books, i bet the vocab lists are p.much the same tho

No. The question types are different! The skills you need are the same and some things are similar like some math and some fill in the blank but the essay writing, reading comprehension and some other questions are different and you need to get used to that type of question!
