Can one become a math teacher at the high/middle school level in NY when your BA is not in math

<p>If you have a BA but it is not in math, how difficult is it to become a certified math teacher in the state of NY (if at all possible). I have taken Calc 1 and 2 and some Econ courses as well. Thanks.</p>
