They're both intro to stats.
PAM2100 is offered this fall while AEM2100 is only offered in the spring.
I want to take AEM3240 next semester so I need a statistics class this fall.
Thanks!!

It depends on your advisor. Tell him/her your reasons and hope it’ll work out.
In my case, my advisor said ok to PAM, but suggested AEM.

Thanks!
My advisor has good reviews online (Nancy Chau) so hopefully she’ll approve.
I have heard that PAM2100 is easier than AEM2100? Is that true?

I’ve heard both those stat classes are easy. Actually, I heard all the stats classes are easy except maybe the engineering one.

From what I have heard, PAM stats is the easiest and AEM stats has the best prof. If it’s still Cindy Van Es teaching it - apparently she actually makes stats interesting.

what cc102 said.

What I heard was ILR -> PAM -> AEM -> A&S

don’t know about the engineering one.
