Long story short, I want to volunteer for a political campaign. I am a long way out from applying to Law School but I was just curious, can certain political extra curriculars hurt my chances? For example, what if I have volunteered for a politician that the admissions people at a law school are not fans of, do you think that'd affect their view of my application? I know the official answer is that it shouldn't, but what do you think the reality is? Would such an extra curricular instead of helping my application actually hurt it thus meaning it's better to leave it off of any applications or resumes?

Thanks in advance :)
