Hi, I am thinkin about coming to UCLA for undergrad. I heard from one guy that Psychobiology is an easy courseload and can be finished in 3 years?
*Is this true, can I GRADUATE from UCLA with a B.S in psychobiology in 3 years? *

To finish in 3 years would I have to have an intense schedule of courses, or can the schedule just be normal?

Do you think I could also tack on a Public Health minor and still graduate with that major in 3 years?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!

P.S: I have a hella lot of AP Credits including bio and psych.

^That’s assuming that one doesn’t run into scheduling problems — which is very likely due to limited space, requisite restrictions, time conflicts, and other mishaps.

It depends on you. I really hate taking 4 classes so I always took 3 per quarter. You should take 3 like others say and if you find the workload too light, you can take a 4th.

Four classes per quarter isn’t so intense in itself as it varies based on class selection. But taking four classes for consecutive quarters is pretty intense and some things gotta give, assuming you want above average academic performance.

so I guess I cannot do that? Are psychobio classes easy or hard? Also can someone give me an updated number of the number of classes you have to take to fulfill that major? Are there any other easy majors that can be completed in 3 years and still fulfill predent/premed reqs?

jesus. “easy” is relative; if you like psychology, then take it. look at the major requirements and see whether you’re INTERESTED in the classes you have to take.

^yes it’s possible. but it depends on what you’re coming in with (ap credit for calc/english, community college classes you took in high school, whether you pass the foreign language placement test, …)

as a side note, why are you so interested in getting done with psychobio in 3 years? there’s no point (it may even hurt you in ways much less controllable than getting a poor gpa)
