Can reporting subject test scores hurt?

I'm applying to USC, and while they don't require them, they reccomend SAT II's. I took Lit and US Hist and did horribly (510 and 460). Would it be better to omit them than report them to USC?

bbbbuuumpppity

Yes, by all means omit those. I would say if they are 690+ then submit them.

In your case, yes, I think you should leave them out. Keep in mind, if you’re submitting your SAT score and not ACT, USC can still see the subject test scores on the SAT score report.

Even with score choice?

No, you can use score choice and send only the SAT test dates and subject tests you want to send.

The others will not show up on the report.

The only problem is USC doesn’t allow score choice. How they enforce that however is beyond me.

It doesn’t matter if the college doesn’t accept score choice. That only limits ur SAT reasoning test scores. If you go on collegeboard and try to send scores, when u try to uncheck a SAT1 score when the college doesnt accept score choice, a warning will pop up. HOWEVER, if you try to uncheck a subject test score, there is no warning, meaning you can choose which subjects to send even without score choice.

are you sure USC doesnt allow score choice? I was sending my scores and it said USC uses the superscored SAT marks.
