I got accepted into SAS through early admission. First marking period I got all A’s and B’s and a C- in Calc and a C in AP European history. 2nd marking period I also got all A’s and B’s but this time I got a C in Calc and a D in AP euro. Mostly my grades stayed the same.
Does getting 1 D mean my acceptance can be recinded?
What does your admission contract state in regards to maintaining a specific GPA or grades?
“Your enrollment at Rutgers is contingent upon satisfactory completion, with no significant decline in grades, of all academic work still in progress when your application was reviewed and that all information provided on your application was complete and true.”
I would say a D is a “significant decline” however, I would call admissions directly to make sure. Most schools do not like to rescind so they may state that you need a C or higher by the end of the year to keep your admission. Be proactive and find out now what you need to do now.
Right thanks for the help. I’ll call the admission office if any problems arise
