My first SAT wasn't so good. For schools that require all scores, will they know if you used score choice?

Probably not, but wouldn’t you be lying to the school if you used Score Choice and pretended as if you had sent all your scores? Do you really want to be accepted by lying?

Only if your school reports it on the transcript. And, @pizzabagel, is hiding a flukey score on a subject test, for example, really immoral? If you were sick that day, or just had a brain fart and messed up, should that impact your ability to be accepted to your top choice school that happens to not allow score choice? Personally, it’s more immoral for the college to probe into your testing history and come to conclusions because of one rough score that could’ve been caused by an external factor like illness.

@dhizzy Touché. Just to clear up my view, though, I don’t think that a bad score will hurt an applicant or be a difference maker in an admissions decision. Those that believe that to be true, however, should realize that they would be going against the policy of the college and would be attempting to get admitted dishonestly if they were to use ScoreChoice.
