Can somebody else turn in my transcripts for me?

Do i actually have to be the person to drop off my transcripts? Because my cousin who already attends davis and will be there Monday is willing to drop them off for me since he'll be in san jose this weekend, and back there the next monday. That would save me an hour and a half drive...Would there be any problems with him dropping them off?

Mailmen are people, too, you know?

Ek, the problem is i don't think i'm going to be able to mail them in time... See i took a summer course, and completed it about a week and a half ago. I'm waiting for my teacher to submit the grade because i need that to give me 60 units and allow me to be IGETC certified. Otherwise i'm still at 58 units...

What I meant was that a mailman is able to deliver your transcript the same way your cousin would be able to. They are both not you.

That's actually a really good point a$$hole.

At least I got some money signs.

i dunno man, i'd just call the admissions office and ask. or ask your admissions counselor (if you were assigned one).

So you ask for help and then call people *******s. Nice.

SFV, let me introduce you to my good friend sarcasm. SFV, sarcasm. Sarcasm, SFV. I'll just leave you two alone for now, so maybe you can get to know each othe a bit better.

Dude, calm down. As long as it's in a sealed envelope from the school, why would they care who brings it?

Seriously, you're just dropping the thing in like a mailman. Why in the world would they care?

This really was a stupid question on my part, didn't really think it through. You guys gotta chill though...the first 2 times that EK said it was enough, there's really no point in echoing the same sentiment over and over.

Good luck NoMoreWait. Good luck.

Good luck, man

As long we receive a sealed copy of the official transcript, the school should be sealing the envelope, we have no preference how they are received. I do recommend you place your Student ID (SID) on the outside of the envelope to assist in matching it to your record.
Records for summer session courses are not due until September 1, although please send them earlier if possible. So if you are concerned that your grades might not be posted in time please send a copy that includes all grades for spring term and prior by July 15 and submit one that includes summer grades no later than September 1.

Hey UCD, i just got my transcript from my CC by emergency request, and it's going to be dropped off this weekend. However, it is NOT IGETC certified...The lady said they can't' do that for emergency requests. However, I already filled out the form for another transcript to be sent as soon as summer semester ends, and that one WILL be IGETC certified....is that fine?

Sounds fine, IGETC is not an admissions requirement and may be received anytime prior to graduation. We just need the academic record by July 15 (September 1 for summer school).
Just a warning, we aren't open to receive transcripts on the weekend and do not have a drop box for such records. The transcripts, if hand delivered, need to be dropped off M-F 9-noon and 1-4.

Thanks, for the quick response UCD! It'll be dropped off monday morning!

UCD Admissions- Good for you for stepping up and helping to clarify what can be an extraordinarily confusing process. I wish more UC's would follow your lead. thanks.

that's no joke itchy, UCD admissions has been there every step along the way whenever i needed help. It's amazing really...i swear i'd send a gift if i had an address.
