pretty self-explanatory

The reason i put this question on the "what are my chances" forum is because i mainly want to know if Cappex's "what are my chances" feature is even remotely accurate...

well, it seems to me that "average" means like it's a high reach.
and higher means low reach.

considering how harvard stanford yale and princeton are "average"

did you enter all the info like it said to? or just the gist?

I entered the first 3 steps.

but not the EC

I think Cappex's system is a poor rater. Same goes for MyChances.

To me, so much of the application is not what's on paper, but rather what the admits get from what you have. I know that many of those "chance me" sites are based for the most part off SAT + GPA, since there really isn't a way to factor in ECs very well.

And, as you've probably heard, it changes from year to year and there really is no one who is guaranteed for anything, whether it be admit, defer, or reject.

My advice: spend less time chancing yourself and thinking about whether or not you'll be accepted, and instead use your time on essays and other things that will help your admission. Good luck!

well said, thanks for the advice ttan... now that i think about it, i do worry alot about college lol...

do you think the colleges are actually on cappex or is it just a rouse...
