Thank you for the update! Please update us again when you decide which school you will attend. Best wishes to you!!!

Got into Cornell Dyson and Georgetown MSB from the waitlist today!

I already put a deposit down at northeastern, but I think I am going to enrolling at either Cornell Or Georgetown!

Anyone have any advice on what to do?

Wow - hearing from two waitlists in one day is amazing - Congratulations! Both are great schools, but living about 15 minutes away, I can’t help but recommend Georgetown. I was hoping my son would want to go there, but that close to home was the last thing he was willing to do! They have great academics, sports, social life, much better weather and a city that can’t be beat. You can’t go wrong with either, but my vote is for Georgetown. Good luck!

Amazing, congrats! You can’t beat a great city like DC - so much to see, eat & do. Great internship and job opportunities and plenty of family and friends to visit you, i’msure. So much fun! I’d lean GT.

Just got into BC off the waitlist for Carroll!

I definitely would have enrolled there had I gotten in RD, but now with Georgetown and Cornell as options I am most likely not going to be enrolling.

Don’t celebrate yet. Getting in is only half the battle. Paying for it is something very different. Check to see if you can afford to go to these schools after financial aid. Until you know, hold on to that scholarship for dear life.

Just curious, are you full pay? Guidance counselor mentioned that the waiting lists this year are being heavily influenced by full pay students, which is why I’m asking.

@coolguy40 since I’m instate NY and Dyson is part of the land grate for Cornell, I would be paying around $55,000 a year, which is a little more than what I would have payed if I went to Northeastern with my scholarship.

As for Georgetown, I think I would maybe have to take out a small loan, but my parents and I still have to discuss that possibility.

@nanosec I did apply for financial aid but I did not receive any from any institution

Congratulations.

Kind of tough to turn down an Ivy League education at a discounted price. And Ithaca’s a great college town. Weather’s not great, but the town is.

Got into NYU Stern from the waitlist!

I’m having a lot of luck with the waitlist, I wonder if this is due to low yields at these schools…

@belovedbytoni

Where did you decide to go?

@BerryB7

I have chosen Cornell Dyson!! It was a really hard decision but I am so excited to be in Ithaca in the fall, hopefully!

I’m also thinking that I will probably want to get my MBA after graduation, so maybe Georgetown will be in my future, but who knows!

I am still waiting to hear back from Vanderbilt and UNC Chapel Hill… I know Carolina says that they notify up until early July so we’ll see and I’m not too hopeful about Vanderbilt.
