i’m applying for a science major and im out of state

I would say that you have a pretty good (above average) chance of getting in. If you were in-state you would be in for sure. I almost want to say that now, the GPA makes me just the slightest bit tentative.

I would think so, yes. There is (almost) never a definite answer in chancing for college admissions, but I doubt that you will receive a disappointing email, especially if your personal statement was good.

I say around a 60-70% chance. That range of GPA you gave is huge and is almost surely the difference between your admission. You should try to find an exact one. You should also list your unweighted GPA alongside. SAT is great, however GPA is much more important compare to sat. Exc are great, however with nothing extraordinary like creating a business or application, you are not guaranteed admission. Out of state actually gives you a higher chance of getting in. The admission rate for oos is higher than the in state admission rate in almost every uc. Lastly your major is not super competitive like computer science so that is good. Overall I think you have around a 60-70 % Ish chance
