@brooke4998 We were just at UMD yesterday for a CS info session and the latest word was May 2016 groundbreaking and Fall 2018 completion. That sounded like best case scenario however. I was hoping that incoming freshmen in Fall '16 would be in the building sooner rather than later, but it sounds like it would be sometime their junior year at the earliest, and easily later than that.

Can anyone tell me what Maryland is ranked for computer science? It would be great if you could tell me specifically about computer science. :smiley: thanks!

My son just finished his freshman year in the Computer Science program. He really loved it. He is excited that they are updating the campus with a new comp sci building. He already went to an internship expo and said that there were amazing companies looking for summer interns. He said that he is glad he chose UMD. Hope that helps anyone undecided.
