<p>I have never really heard about it before but it seems to be a common test taken by people on this site.</p>
<p>It’s a one hour test administered by the same folks who do the SAT but it’s subject-specific. Some people call them “subject tests”. Some schools require them…alot of the more selective schools do. You just have to check their individual websites and see what their admission requirements are. They’re also a way to sort of “pad” your academic resume. Generally, if you take a subject test and score 700 or better, it’s a nice way to communicate to the colleges your level of “mastery”.</p>
<p>You can take up to 3 test within the same day and it is offered on some of the dates with SAT I, however, you cannot take SAT I and SAT II on the same day. You can add a second or a third subject test on the same day for additional $10 each.</p>
<p>Sounds like something I should look into.</p>
