I wish to major in Economics and eventually pursue a career in Investment Banking or Private Equity after attending Business School.

I have been accepted into the following:

UC Santa Cruz
UC Santa Barbara (Honors)
UC San Diego (Muir College)
UC Irvine (Regents Scholarship+Campuswide Honors Program)
UC Berkeley (Spring Semester)

Please give me any insight, thanks!

Don't do santa cruz at all, it does NOT have a good rep when you go to apply for a job (mom does hiring for a stock firm, i would know). I wouldn't choose SB either, they have more of a party school rep as well. As far as Irvine, I don't know much about it but it isn't as prestigious as SD or Berk (if that is important to you). Personally, I would choose SD over Berk (because I am lol) but that is because the school suits me better. I do know that SD has a great math department, but other than that I would just say find out which has a better feel for you.

BTW, also got Muir and majoring in Math, possible minor in Econ =)
