Of those you list, students at Vassar will be far more intellectual and thoughtful in terms of scholarship. I’d say it is stronger academically–by far and the students are more scholarly. It is more like Swarthmore in terms of those attributes. I’d put Colgate, Boston College, Villanova (in that order) in the typical column in terms of students-strong with some students who are intellectual and others who are sports oriented, etc.
