Can someone help me answer this question?

I learnt that Michigan got a rolling decision. I do not understand when the decision will be released. what is the difference of rolling and regular decision?

I just got rejected from my top choice school so please help. Thank you very much!

Your decision could come out anytime between mid January and late April.

“by” April

Be warned UMich has their own definition of “by”

I know Michigan got a famous Ross Business School but then on Common App there is no Ross Business School available.
Is this some kind of error? or I have to satisfy some conditions to get in?
Thank you!

The supplement section asks you if you “are applying for preferred admission?” If you answer yes, it gives you a dropdown meny of which preferred program you wish to be considered for.

On Common App Supplement i dont see that. There is only “U-M college or school to which you are applying:” and there is no Ross :(

That’s because you cannot apply directly to Ross. You must first be admitted into LSA or the College of Engineering. Ross is a preferred admit option which is offered only after you fill which college you are applying to.

Ok got it
Thanks :D
