What about west coast ppl

*What about west coast ppl *

Boarding schools don’t accept any students from the west coast anymore. It’s a new “green” initiative to save energy usage from their transportation during school breaks and from their parents visits to them on parents’ weekends.

Sorry to break the news to you. I’d have thought you would have heard about it by now.

LOL - don’t drive the over-stressed kid crazy, Lvillegrad!

If you are asking about when the FedEx may arrive, it could be 2-3 hours later than the east coast, but it’s still morning your local time.

Okay so waiting for March 10th is getting to some of you. Take a moment to relax and laugh. Just Click a few of the following:

Correction-- SPS is online, but at 3 PM. That is what they said in the letter I got.

They say that, but if you look at last year’s posts, applicants started posting their results shortly after 6am. I can ask the school and get clarification if that helps.

All the times I posted earlier were based to the ‘time stamps’ on people’s postings last year. It seems that some schools say one time for online/email/FedEx but actually provide it earlier or later than they say. Both their claims and historic experience might prove helpful. But schools can also change their times from year-to-year.

the letter from SPS did not say “at” 3pm. it said “by” 3pm.

Oh, cool! Well, the earlier the better. And sorry, I didn’t mean to contradict you, I just was looking at the letter. Anyway, I’m glad its early!

There is simply no way that my son will be able to get any sleep on the 9th.

no

way

It will be a huge day for him. I’ll totally let him take the lead on this and try to support him in whatever way he thinks he needs to go about it, even if it’s a computer game to steal the time.

haha, me neither. but i will make myself go to sleep because time passes by faster when i do. ill just keep my alarm set to like 5:50ish.
