Does Deerfield have on-line notification?

I'm in at SPS and Middlesex, waiting until 3 pm EST on Groton. Don't think Deerfield has on-line notification...

nah, they dont do that.

I emailed Deerfield. I got waitlisted.

wait-- are you an international applicant? If not, how did you manage to e-mail them to ask?

Yes I'm an international applicant.

congrats annabelle!
if you're international you get an email...i did

If you receive Deerfield info by snail mail, please post where you live and when it is postmarked.

Deerfield has in the past sent acceptances via overnight US Mail. If they are allowing international students to email today, I would assume they sent them on Saturday? (just a guess, I did not call them and the web site does say Mail DATE 3/10).
In any case, all US acceptances should arrive on the same day.

A rejection letter from Deerfield was postmarked the 8th. Good luck!

aw that's a bummer whynotmithoo...did you apply anywhere else? :)

The applicant is for my child who got admitted to SPS and Lawrenceville, though Deerfield was one of the top choices. Thanks

That's interesting about the rejection letter...I would assume then that the acceptances went out the same day (Saturday) and should arrive today for everyone.

I'm sorry wynotmithoo. It is interesting how the "top" schools are all different. Last year I know a student who was admitted to Exeter and Andover and not Deerfield and another who was accepted at both Deerfield and SPS. You never know.

Maybe there were many siblings applying from his school. Schools like to take kids from a variety of locations.
