Online Decisions...what time?

Hi, I’m trying to keep myself from going nuts and wondering if anyone can:

Verify the times for online decisions on 3/10.

Confirm which schools are absolutely NOT going to have decisions online.

Tell me if some decisions will arrive by mail tomorrow or if that is just the postmark day.

Thanks!

Brooks School will have the decisions online at 5 a.m and St. Paul’s at 3 p.m. I’m not sure about Exeter.

Does anyone know if Andover mails the decisions on the 10th or do they do it before to ensure it reaches on the 10th? Thanks.

Middlesex letter says starting at 9am
GDA is also online but I dont know what time they start.

Chaidrinker,

From posts last year, it appears that Andover FedEx’d acceptances for receipt on March 11, 2008 (which was a Tuesday) but that, in previous years, when March 9 did not fall on a weekend, the FedEx envelopes arrived on March 10. This is, however, little better than speculation.

At least we should know the answer within 24 hours . . . .

I just called Exeter admissions and they will be sending e-mails at 6am!!!

Exeter will do that? Wow, I thought the online decision would be posted at 9am. I guess we’ll know 3 hours earlier then.

Based on past experience, many online decisions will be available well before the times stated by the schools.

Last year, NMH online decisions were available at midnight EST on 3/9.

Lawrenceville decisions are available online at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow 3/10. Peddie is sending an e-mail tomorrow, but I don’t know what time. If anyone knows the time of Peddie’s
e-mail, please post it. Both schools will follow up with letters.

Wow – I thought Peddie was only sending snail mail!

And Exeter at 6 am! It will be like Christmas morning.

I sure hope SPS is before 3 pm – to find out one at 6 am and then wait til 3 for another will be difficult.

I am much more anxious than my son. And my hesitant son has come around (um, for today at least) – He told me he can’t wait for tomorrow.

nothim - the past 2 years, sps has been available shortly after midnight.

Midnight?!

Hmm, me thinks I have to decide stay up late or awake early…

Better to find out most at once for me.

UGGH – I didn’t expect to be this distracted.

My son also had his decision from SPS at midnight – and I think he also had a decision from Mercersburg at midnight.

A word of caution – it may take 3+ days for all notifications to come in (it did for my son) and those online decisions don’t usually include the FA details. so, if FA is critical, you may not really know if your student is “in” or not. My son didn’t know all FA and admissions details for almost a week – and that is after I called two schools and asked for admissions info and FA details. Unless you are full-pay, the wait isn’t necessarily over on March 10th!

Would they mention FA status at all in the online/email decisions?

My son applied to 9 schools – not all of which had online notifications. He did not receive any information on FA in the online notifications – all FA info came in the mail with the actual acceptance letter, contract, etc.

hsmomstef: Good point, I had forgotten that FA decisions don’t come with the acceptances.

Hotchkiss- 6pm EST
The Hill- 9am EST

wow i thought we had to wait until 9 am to see our Exeter decisions. Im so happy now that I can see it before school instead of after.

Does anyone know if NMH does online or e-mail decisions?
