So, they told me they will have a decision within the next couple of days. It's been 9 days. Should I email a follow-up, would that come across as being impatient?

They also sent me a letter in the mail. It said to make sure I submitted everything.

(which I did. They told me in the email they received my ACT scores, which he said will work toward my favor)

Well… I can’t see how emailing will help your odds unless you have some new accomplishment to share… can you tell us what school it is? Is there a portal you are supposed to check for information that might have your decision?

Who/what told you you’d have a decision in the next few days? And when was the letter dated? After you were told you’d be informed in a few days?

Etuck24:
The academic counselor, the person in charge of my file.
The letter was sent via email Feb 3.
I sent them an email Feb 4 stating I submitted my FAFSA.
And now it’s Feb 12. No response.
