can someone please chance me for Barnard College?? PLEASE!

US History-690</p>

IB Diploma candidate:IB Psych SL, IB Environmental SL, IB History of the Americas HL, IB English HL, IB Spanish HL, TOK, IB Methods SL, Honors in every class except math and physics for all 4 years of high school</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
Tri-M Music honor Society 3 years
Spanish Honor Society 2 years
National Honor Society 2 years
English Honor Society 1 year
Science Honor Society 1 year
Student council 4 years
Girls Leaders Corps 2 years

<p>I honestly don't know if I'll get in because I totally messed up my first marking period grades for senior year. My mid year report is going to awful... will that affect my admissions decisions?? Do I have a shot at getting into Barnard? My extracurricular's are awful and my SAT scores aren't that great and my SAT II's are even worse. I also have my interview this Friday.. will that help my chances?</p>

<p>^Umm…I had a 34 ACT, A+ GPA, and more leadership positions than OP and I got outright rejected so I wouldn’t exactly say that.</p>

<p>Not to scare you, though! It’s nearly impossible to tell until decisions come out, so hang in there!</p>

<p>correction. noticed the GPA you gave was weighted. changes things. at 3.85 uw, you’re looking at 50/50 on a good day, but not sure what your uw is.</p>

<p>The essay questions carry a lot of weight at Barnard, so I’d advise you to give those a lot of time and attention. </p>
