HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LOL LOL LOL
:'D
Sorry I had to do that, I am cracking up

Anyway’s make sure you work on your essays. It’s more important than your grades for admission to U of C.

Ehhh also for this

Top Academic Student in the Following Classes:
AP US History
AP Chemistry
AP Economics
Mathematics
Honors Biology
Physical Education (lol, not sure why)

I don’t think that admissions really much care about that (IMO, and don’t take it as any kind of offense, you are a great student). But they usually overlook things like “best student in (fill in the class name)” because it is more depended on what class you are stuck with, not really showing your intellgence. This kinda goes to school literary magazines at schools, I always say that it is way easier to publish things into school literary magazines. It also makes you look like you are just trying to pad your resume. Never the less the other awards are great.

Yeah I know, I was just throwing in what I recalled quickly, but my volunteer work also includes some more intricate work such as volunteering in a cancer rehabillitation center, building houses in ravaged Dominican Republic Cities, volunteering at Indian homeless shelters, teaching English to foreign, deprived children etc.

^cdz512 I was just throwing in the top academic student kind of to show that with the 4.4 GPA i didn’t merely slide by with A- or even 96% in classes (for our GPA doesn’t distinguish between A’s) I was just utilizing it to show that I received 98%-100% in those rigorous classes, but I of course understand your point completely. Thanks for the feedback

Now that’s worth writing about. I have you say, the antibody does sound interesting.

Don’t worry about your GPA, admissions don’t care about GPA, they care about the individual grade in each class and the difficulty of the class. Different schools calculate GPA differently and some don’t even have GPAs so they don’t really care about GPAs.

good chances but what separates you from the other asian kid in the thread above?

^^Shempi great point, but I feel that is exactly where the essays come into play. With millions of kids applying to college, numerous students look very similar to even the most minute detail, and I think that is why essays are utilized for selection. I know I am the typical “Asian” so to say and many others share similar qualifications. It is through my unique essays and novel (at least I hope) themes that I hope to garner attention. However, I do very much appreciate your criticism. All I can say is keep it coming!
