EXTRA COMMENTS
I am inclined towards the sciences.
I moved around a lot my freshman year; therefore, I was not able to pursue many ECs. I am retaking the ACTs (my first time was a 33 with a week of prep) and am aiming for a 34/35
I've made two Bs in high school, one in honors algebra 2 in 9th grade and one in honors chemistry in sophomore year. In my next math classes, Honors Geometry, Honors Analysis, and AP Stat I made a 99, 95, and 96 respectively. In AP Chemistry I made a 94 and a 5 on the AP exam. I believe that shows a very high upward trend, so I hope it doesn't hurt me much.

I live in GA and am south Asian female.

they said i have a good chance if i write good essays and stuff. if i have a good chance, you definetly do.

Please don’t bother retaking the ACT. A 33 is the 99th percentile.

I got in with stats similar to yours, and fewer ECs. Actually, I had probably half as many ECs as you have. Assuming you know how to write, you’re in.

Please don’t bother retaking the ACT.

Your GPA is a 3.95 unweighted. Quit worrying about the random Bs you got.

…And don’t retake the ACT.

Chill, it’s 2 B’s why are you worrying? People get into Harvard with B’s.

Yeah, don’t sweat the two B’s. Not the end of the world.
And you really don’t need to retake the ACT. Like JB said, its 99th percentile. It’s what I got (my third time taking it, but first time studying), and I was jumping for joy. The difference between a 33 and a 34 is probably a difference of about 3 questions you missed. 3 questions. UofC is not going to rule you out because you got a 33 (about 99.1 percentile) instead of a 34 (about 99.4 percentile) or a 35 (about 99.7 percentile). Really its not a big deal. And you also have to consider the fact that the UofC Adcom doesn’t weight SAT/ACT scores as heavily as nearly every other school. And on top of all that, a 33 is 75th percentile of all students accepted by UofC, which is a pretty distinguished group, so don’t sweat it, not even in the slightest. No reason to waste the $43, put it towards your application haha.
