Can someone please tell me PR 1296 tests are harder?!

Okay, so here's what happened:

June ACT:
33- E
32- M
31- R
25- S

Retake of 08-09 (last took it in....Jan?):
31- E
32- M (dammnnnnnn, why am I not improvingggg)
35- R
26- S (=P)

PR 1296 (took it yesterday):
31- E
30- M
30- R
24- S

So....I really don'y know where I am right now, or what else to do. Are the 1296 questions harder?! Or did I seriously not improve from June (rather, got worse)?

i like to think that the PR 1296 tests are harder.

regardless, even if lets say they weren’t, they still aren’t official so i wouldn’t worry because the style of the questions are a little diff than the real one

If you look at your scores, there really isn’t that big of a difference. Take another PR 1296 test, see what happens. I don’t think it is all that harder. But make sure you’ve done the practice tests in the red book first, like the real ACT prep guide, those are the most accurate.

i scored lower on PR 1296 than on the real ACT…i’d like to believe PR 1296 is harder =(

i can tell you the science in PR is harder, a lot harder than the real one.

I agree, but don’t automatically add one or two points to your composite score because of the perceived difficulty. I’d say add two or three points to your subscores and you’ll have a much more realistic idea of how PR 1296 tests will translate to the actual test.
