Mom2collegekids, sorry, I realized that came out wrong after I posted it. Basically what I mean is Indiana doesn’t have the reputation of some other schools that I would be looking at, in terms of job recruitment. Sure, Kelley is ranked relatively highly, and it does indeed attract many very good students, but in terms of recruitment in the Northeast, it does not compare to many lesser ranked [business] schools. I just feel like a degree from Indiana University, isn’t too prestigious, even compared to a Northeastern, or Lehigh.

Ahhh…so you naively think that only NE schools have business clout. lol

Do you really think that Kelley could have the ranking that it enjoys if it wasn’t able to place its graduates?

You need to get out more.

Ok, sorry, I guess I’m naive then. Don’t need to get bent out of shape…

Depends on what major/career you want out of business. Indiana U (Kelley school of business actually places well for investment banking in Chicago). I think it is called the Investment Banking workshop, but you get admitted Soph. or junior year. If you think you beat out the kids in Indiana, you will have an easier time for investment banking as opposed to going to an ivy.<a href=“The Investment Banking Network at Indiana University: Error On Page”>The Investment Banking Network at Indiana University: Error On Page. Here is a group of kids from the IB workshop that got offers.

Because you are applying to Lehigh, you should also consider Bucknell. It is not “dark” like Lehigh.

It is also not a safety. Sorry. I realize I am not answering your question. But In thought I’d give an alternative to one of your choices.

How about TOSU for safety? 7 hours drive from New York!

*Above all, as a Yankees fan, George Steinbrenner (Ohioan, Buckeye alumnus) would be proud!! Go Bucks!! :)

Thanks for all of these awesome suggestions, everybody! I must admit the Indiana IB program does sound enticing so I’ll give that a second look. Regarding Bucknell, I visited and loved the campus, so it is towards the top of my list, actually. Just a bit small and isolated! I suppose I’ll look it at OSU, as it does have a solid business program. (I’m applying to U Mich. though, so that’s kind of unethical haha!) Anyway thanks again everyone, and go Yankees!

^^ It’s all good, buddy!! Even though ‘The Boss’ would certainly be rolling over in his grave, I’d say go to Michigan if you can afford it!! It does have one of the best business schools in the country!! Plus, you will make Jeter happy! :)

Go Yankees!!! lol
